MetroWest Pest Control, operated by Local Demand Company.

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Who operates this website

MetroWest Pest Control is an educational and request-routing website operated by Local Demand Company. It is a platform, not a pest-control service provider. We do not perform inspections, treatments, or any pest-control work. When an independent provider is assigned to this territory, that provider is a separate business responsible for its own services and its own handling of your information.

Information we collect

When you submit a form we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, optional phone number, town or ZIP code, what you are noticing, where and when you noticed it, your optional description, your contact preference, and the permissions you grant. We also record technical context such as the page you submitted from, referral and campaign parameters, a session identifier, submission timing, and a one-way hashed form of your network address used solely for abuse prevention. We do not store raw IP addresses.

A short resource-request form asks only for your first name, last name, and email address. The more detailed Request Help form collects the additional details above so a provider can understand your situation. Separately from our own database, the analytics and advertising-measurement tools described below independently collect general technical and behavioral information about website visits.

How we use information

We use your information to deliver the resource you requested, to respond to your request, to notify you about provider availability if you asked for that, to prevent spam and automated abuse, and to understand which pages and campaigns are useful.

Resource requests and service requests

We treat three kinds of submissions differently:

  • Resource request only — you asked for a guide. We use your email address to deliver it. Your request is not shared with a provider.
  • Resource plus service-availability interest — you also asked to be notified if an independent provider becomes available in this territory. We keep your request so we can send that notification.
  • Provider contact request — you asked to be contacted by an independent provider. Only in this case, and only with that permission, is your request shared with a provider.

Analytics and website measurement

Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy the measurement tags used on this website. Tag Manager itself does not determine the purposes for which information is collected — it loads and configures the tools described below.

Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, general device and browser information, approximate geographic information, navigation between pages, landing-page performance, form starts, successful form submissions, resource requests, guide downloads, call-to-action interactions, FAQ interactions, email, phone, and outbound-link clicks, and general campaign performance. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish users and sessions.

We do not intentionally send personally identifiable form information to Google Analytics. That includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, and free-text form descriptions. Our measurement events are built to strip or exclude that information before it is sent.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the website through tools such as session replays, heatmaps, click patterns, scroll behavior, navigation behavior, and page-rendering and usability information. Clarity may use cookies and pseudonymous identifiers to associate interactions across page views. We use it to improve usability, identify broken experiences, and understand landing-page performance. It is not used to record form-field values or private visitor communications.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website may use first-party cookies and similar technologies for analytics, session measurement, website performance, security, spam prevention, advertising measurement, and remembering limited technical state. You can restrict or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. This website does not currently offer a cookie-preference center or consent banner.

Advertising measurement

We may use Google Ads conversion measurement when advertising campaigns are active, to understand whether a campaign resulted in a resource request, a service inquiry, a form submission, or another meaningful website action.

Advertising-measurement data may include campaign parameters, referring source, landing page, event timestamps, pseudonymous device or browser identifiers, and conversion-event information. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and free-text form responses are not intentionally included in advertising-measurement events.

Who we share information with

No independent provider is currently assigned to this territory, so no request has been shared with a provider. If a provider is assigned in the future, requests are only shared where you have granted permission.

We also rely on service providers that may process information on our behalf, in these categories:

  • Website hosting and deployment
  • Cloud database storage
  • Email delivery
  • Analytics and website measurement (Google, Microsoft)
  • Advertising measurement (Google)
  • Spam prevention and security
  • Independent service providers, but only when you have granted the relevant permission

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep form submissions only as long as reasonably necessary for resource delivery, responding to you, provider-routing decisions, abuse prevention, recordkeeping, and legitimate business operations. Analytics and email service providers retain data according to their own configured settings and policies. Some records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes. You may request deletion by emailing privacy@metrowestpestcontrol.com.

Security and abuse prevention

We use technical safeguards to protect submissions and to block spam and automated abuse, including hidden form fields, submission-timing checks, duplicate-submission protection, and rate limiting based on a one-way hashed form of your network address. The application does not store raw IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices

  • Request access to the information you submitted
  • Request correction of that information
  • Request deletion of that information
  • Withdraw permission for provider contact
  • Withdraw permission for provider-availability notifications
  • Unsubscribe from optional email communications
  • Restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings
  • Use your browser’s privacy controls

To exercise any of these, email privacy@metrowestpestcontrol.com.

Children

This website is intended for homeowners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
